AT&T’s standard DSL package is one of the faster ones in the city, with average speeds exceeding 200 Mbps. But we didn’t choose it for the top spot because only about a quarter of the city has access to its Fiber service which can deliver the industry-leading connection speeds seen from providers such as Spectrum.

However, AT&T also has some attractive bundles that might make it the right option for you depending on your needs.

#3 Earthlink

If you don’t have any interest in a bundle or don’t need a super-fast connection, Earthlink is a solid, reliable option.

It uses a DSL connection and reaches about two-thirds of the city, although around 20 percent of Milwaukee residents can access Hyperlink, which provides up to 1000 Mbps.

Keep in mind there are no bundles, but if this doesn’t matter, consider Earthlink a viable option and check out their plans before making a purchase decision.
