When shopping for internet providers in Oklahoma City, don’t let the many options overwhelm you. We’ve simplified everything by reviewing them and narrowing the list to the best three:

#1 COX

More than 96 percent of the city can access COX internet, and because of this, and also the fact that it’s the fastest in the region, we’ve chosen it for the top spot on our list.

On average, COX internet is around 20 percent faster than the competition, with average speeds usually around 120 Mbps and maximum speeds of 300 Mbps.

There is no option for gigabit (1000 Mbps) but in this case, we’re not too bothered since COX consistently delivers a high-performance connection that will meet the needs of the vast majority of users.

#2 AT&T

Also widely-available throughout the city, AT&T is certainly a great option. Average speeds are slower than COX, but they regularly reach 90 Mbps, which most people will find to be more than sufficient.

One thing that might set AT&T apart is that it also owns DirecTV, which means you can work some interesting bundle packages if you want.

Some people, only about a quarter of the city, can access AT&T Fiber which does deliver gigabit speed, but this coverage area isn’t enough to affect AT&T’s position on this list.

#3 Earthlink

After these two providers, your realistic choices start to become fewer. One that is worth considering is Earthlink,. Speeds are a good bit slower, but that’s sort of the point; Earthlink is good for people who need less but who also want to pay less.

If you fit into this category, then definitely give Earthlink some serious consideration when shopping.
